Editorial Policy
Last reviewed on March 7, 2026. This page explains how the site updates guides, evaluates tool changes, and handles corrections.
Editorial principles
- Intent clarity: Each page should have one primary job and should not promise a workflow the tool cannot actually perform.
- Visible alignment: Titles, meta descriptions, headings, structured data, and visible page content should describe the same page purpose.
- Practical bias: Guides favor readable, usable script recommendations over decorative language that does not help the user make a decision.
How guides are updated
Guide pages are revised when a topic needs clearer explanations, stronger internal linking, more complete use-case coverage, or more explicit dates and metadata. When a guide is materially updated, the visible page copy, structured data, and sitemap date are updated together.
Guide review checklist
- Check the page title, H1, description, and canonical URL.
- Confirm the guide has a single primary search intent.
- Refresh related tool links and make sure they match the topic.
- Update visible dates and article structured data when content changes materially.
How tools are reviewed
Tool pages are reviewed when new presets, output modes, or page clusters are added. Review focuses on whether the page exposes the right controls for the intended query, whether the preview and export behavior match the page promise, and whether the page source stays focused on the active mode rather than carrying unrelated template blocks.
Corrections and clean-up
If a page becomes too broad, duplicates another page too closely, or contains mismatched canonical or redirect behavior, it is revised to restore a single preferred URL and a clearer visible scope.
